Not sure if this was intentional or not, but the carbonite han in Cloud city can be destroyed. Happened an hour ago where one reb would constantly go for han and saber the slab of carbonite till it disappeared. then the rebel would go hide till time was up.
Also a more common problem is how eaisly han can be tossed into the abyss in the levels

yeah, i've gotten the 'dont fire at friendlies' thing when han was caught in my crossfire but i guess he's destructable for a reason.
on the reb deystroying it then running and hiding i think that needs to be fixed. a rebel deystroying han should lose the match for the rebs and likewise for the imperials.
Must have been attacking it for a long while as since all npc's/vehicle's have hitpoints I'm sure han was given quite a few.

The rebel should've been slashing at Han for quite some time, as even the Saber can't easily manage to kill Han's HP. We're working on a fix for this, which also includes the pushing Han of edges. Athough, I see mostly Imps doing this - dunno why, makes it easier for Rebels to hide though :rolleyes:

Yep....I realized that if you were an imp and accidentally hit han in carbonite, you'd get pts deducted.
should just have a respawn code for han, if he dies or is knocked into pit he respawns back at carbon room.
Edit: and the jedi I saw only slashed him a couple times and he disappeared

If purpose of MBII is not to respawn (LastManStanding) han shouldn't be respawned...
No this is different, i think. Anyone killing Han is cheating, and we all dont want cheating. So if hes made to respawn, it would prevent cheating. And I know NOONE likes a cheater. :eek:

Both teams are supposed to want him alive... so killing him would either be a draw, or a loss for the killer team. Otherwise it could drain your points like hitting Jabba when you're supposed to protect him.
personally just having him respawn in the carbonite room would be fine. then theres tossing him into the abyss's in the level
So why won't you clip the han, make it just solid, unbreakable, etc?

or....you could put a trigger_teleport a bit farther down the pit so that when han hits the teleport he gets teled back up to the place he belongs (above the teleport you would put the trigger_hurt to kill players who fall in the abyss; han [i dont think] doesnt get killed/hurt by falling into the abyss, he just lands on the bottom)

na you would use a trigger_multiple with npc only checked with that linked to a target_teleport

But if the imperials decide to dump Han, it's more than allowed for rebels go hiding... The timer isn't on rebels' side without reason. What we see nowadays too much is that the imperials stay camping the Carbon Freezing area, waiting for the rebels to appear and basically slaughter them with snipers, etc....
The rebels don't understand to stay out of the area even though it's clearly giving imperials an advantage to go into their spawn area. I know rebels can take him too, but the main goal is to stop imperials from taking him to Slave 1, but it's still useful to sneak and take Han to Falcon when they are all the way in the rebel spawn and slave 1 and not caring about Han...
Now I hate hearing accusations of calling me a lamer because of hiding/being near Slave 1 when Han has been dumped and the round is near end.
I think that team can win by killing another team, no need to take Han to the spaceship... so Han can be dumped to the pit and the team can still win or loose
Edit: You should also disable Han Solo in class screen so nobody would run around there with Han and pulling brother Han of Carbonite :)
the han portion of player model choosing is only disabled in semi auth mode
