a rediculouse question to some of you, yes. but i am curious if its possible seeing that there are a TON of good maps on mb2 :eek:. anyways. is it possible to convert mb2 maps to jka format and putting dual, ffa, and team ffa?

please respond whenever. this is a mapping question............

Quite a few of our mappers have already released their maps for base JKA. Simply search www.jk3files.com for those.

If a map hasn't been released outside of MBII, you can pm the respective mapper (their names can be found in the MBII_Maps_Models_Readme.txt that comes with the mod), but don't get your hopes up too high. A lot of our mappers are likely too busy with their current projects to edit their maps for base gameplay.

Plus we like to keep some things exclusive for MBII. ;)

More importantly, base sucks. MB2 not only quenches your thirst better... it tastes better, too.

Additionally, some MBII maps have features that aren't supported in BaseJKA, and obviously, won't work because of that.

Not to mention the actual authors of the maps being pissed off if you touch their work without their permission.

I wish it was a BaseJKA duel map personally. :P Then again there's not much point given none of the popular duel servers runs anything but 2-3 BaseJKA duel maps. :(

There are people who play jka base, not many, but a few. And JA+ has a number of players, OJP occasionally has 1 server. Dont know about forcemod III, but you already lose :/

FM III fails. Terribly. There's still a number of people playing base, which makes me laugh at their misguidedness.

Actualy it's still fun to play Base JO or JKA I still see lots of servers online for JO and JKA and it's fun to do Duel :>
