You must of missed it. The banner changed for a few minutes... I should of got a screen shot. Oh I should check the IE cache...

The only change I see is the little tiny nothing banner above the right panel on pages.
I always thought the banner should be a screenshot from MBII, or at least an action scene from the movies.

Congrats, however i personally liked the Mando much more, nevertheless better contrast to the old appereance.

So...what did the old banner look like again? Is it still the old banner. I can't remember.
And qui-gons pic....if anything it might be a clue that the models are even more detailed in b18...though the eyes haunt me.

I like the new banner, however its stuck to the top of the page, and the clone's head on the left is cut off right smack in the middle, and because of that, i destroyed my mmouse trying to scroll up. The head cut off gives a false sense of continuity.
An the other hand, you can clearly see that the new banner's image quality is way better than the last one, its not pixelated or antyhing like that, making it clear and crisp, appealing to the eye.

Personally, I'm annoyed at the banner, because, as people have said, it looks like there is more to it, but then you realise that the snapshot cuts off the clones head.
Any chance of a similar shot but with the rest of the clone head?
I got confused first and tried scrolling up the site... only to find out that the picture ended there :(

On this picture however, you are able to see Neo's whole body, therefore you have more to look at, and then his head isnt STUCK to the top of the page, maybe you if you had a little space between the pafe and the logo it would look a bit better

Unless I'm completely mistaken, that picture is from the end of EP2 when the Grand Army is formed.
I'm guessing my internet is messed up, 'cos the banners on the main page, and most of those posted here just seem to be the old ones to me. :confused:

Well the original one was also 'stolen'..
And the image is closer and sharper because it's from the HD version of AOTC, and you have to remember the banner is extremely wide, so the only options I had were to have black bars at the side, stretch it so it looks awful, or leave it at its original perspective.
The image will be replaced but I am having trouble because..well what I just said, hard to find an image which would go nicely on an extra-wide banner.

they should make it so it changes everytime you click refreash, so diff themes in one! (i'm sure they have it somewhere, i forget waht website)
